Wedding season!

Wedding season is fast approaching, and I will be photographing a wedding very soon. I went to go check out the church, and it’s so great! I appreciated my own architechtural photography (lol, no people around!) and thought I would share it here!

Baby plan availability! Mothers day and summer sessions

There are still some spots left in my baby plan program for babies beginning in the next few months. I really encourage this! You can’t go back and get great portraits of your baby if you miss out!

Full sessions for both location, in-studio and a few select weddings are being scheduled for the summer now, so please contact me soon if you are wanting to get on the schedule. Especially newborns, it’s so helpful if we plan that before your baby is born!

This is also the last chance to order any portraits you need for mothers day. That’s about three weeks away! You can order standard portrait or you can have a new collage designed for mom (or yourself!) LOL! And don’t forget to tell your husband that what you REALLY want for Mothers’ day is a portrait session with me where he is on his best behavior!

For Mothers’ Day: Handbags, Totes, Zippered pouches and more!

These custom portrait bags make such a great gift for the grandmas in your life! Or even for yourself as a special Mothers’ Day treat! You can order one of these for yourself featuring your favorite images from an SLM Studios portrait session. But do hurry because orders for these need to be submitted within the next week to arrive in time for Mothers Day! Wouldn’t it be great to have a fresh new bag for the warmer weather!?

Smaller items such as coin purse or a cosmetic bag are also available for only $30 and $45, respectively. Those are very popular as well!

New backdrop for the studio :-)

A gorgeous new backdrop has arrived at the studio! You guys are going to love this SO much! It’s kind of casual, kind of modern, but not un-traditional, the colors are great for many of the clothes families like to wear for their portraits.

This is kind of a sneak-peak of it! LOL My daughter didn’t give me a whole lot to work with!

This will be great for spring/summer/winter portraits. I’ll be at least one new backdrop for the fall season as well. I’m very very excited about that!

And if you are having a baby this year, it would be a good idea to call as soon as possible to make sure that I can reserve a date for your maternity/newborn portraits. Breath-taking birth announcements

You may have noticed that there have been a lot of little newborns featured on the blog! One of my most favorite things is designing and creating custom birth announcements for these new little people. In this post I’m featuring a couple of the recent designs (names and info have been changed, don’t worry!) - each newborn session has a few beautiful designs to choose from, and each design is unique.

I know not everybody has a newborn session! So the rest of you will just be able to look forward to the holiday card designs in the fall They’re so beautiful when printed as well, with a lovely linen finish. They’re priced quite resonably, too; and I’ll be adding a slightly different product at an even more economical price for those of you with LOTS of friends and family - I’ve had quite a few requests for that.
