Still a few spots left!

For the June 4 mini-session date. Contact me for info. And don’t worry, there is a mini session in the works for July 10 that will be open to all little people ages 0-3 for very special mid-year portraits to capture those changes that happen so quickly. Details will be announced in a little bit.

Now to share a super-cute portrait. These little ones are twins, and I loved how their personality shines through in this image. The boy was certainly more outgoing and active, see him right there in front! And the little girl hangs back a bit, such a sweet and reserved thing. Of course the tongue sticking out adds the extra spunk! LOL, I laugh every time I look at it.

Your chance to try SLM Studios!

For just one day, you have the chance to come experience SLM Studios! I’ll be booking mini-sessions at no session fee for new clients. This is the perfect chance to have a great portrait experience at no risk, and also a perfect chance to get fabulous mid-year portraits of your adorable children!

Each mini-session is about 30 minutes, limited to babies/children/maternity only, 5-10 proofs will be shown with some in color and some in black and white. It will be on Monday Morning, June 4th. You will receive one complimentary 5×7 of your choice (a $20 value). You may upgrade the complimentary 5×7 to an 8×10 by pre-paying $20 towards your order, or upgrade the 5×7 to an 11×14 by pre-paying $50 towards your order. We’ll be using the backdrop in the image below. This drop nicely compliments the tones in most spring and summer clothing.

Now offering sessions “in studio”

I’ve added a new type of session on the Pricing page, labeled “In Studio” where you may come to me for your session. This option has many advantages for your session. I’ll be able to have the studio already set-up when you arrive, and we won’t lose time to the set-up that I have to do when bringing the studio to you. Instead, we’ll be able to use that time to change backdrops to create a larger variety in each session.

Also, we’ll have access to ALL of my equipment, backdrops, and props for the session. The studio options are multiplying rapidly beyond what I can fit into my car Sometimes it’s best to go with the flow a little bit once I see the clothing and other items you bring to the session. And often, there are concerns about wether or not there will be enough space to set up the studio at your home, with this option, we’ll have plenty of space! I think many of you will enjoy this option; do feel free to contact me with any questions you have as you are making your decision.

On location sessions are still available as before. And of course that is still a fun and convenient option as well!

Still searching for newborns…

I’ve recently had the pleasure of photographing two of the sweetest newborns ever. Of course, they are all sweet, aren’t they? I’m posting some of my favorites from those sessions below. But I’m still looking for a few more newborns to fill an entire newborn gallery in my portfolio. If you are due to give birth soon (or pass this info along to somebody else), there’s a complimentary session and 8×10 for portfolio newborns until I have enough variety to fill up an entire gallery.
